Welcome to Orientation -  Drivers Education for Teens

We understand that time is a premium in today's busy world.  Please be aware of our policies concerning Driver Education Attendance.

Attendance

• You must complete 30 hours Classroom Instruction and all Assignments...plus 6 driving hours to complete the course mandated by NC DMV

• NC DMV performs Eye Exams at our School for Driver's Education Students

• In an emergency absence please call the instructor

• Missing a Driving Class will cost you additional $$$$$, unless the office or instructor is called in a timely manner

• STUDENTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN LUNCH, SNACKS AND SODAS.  WATER IS PROVIDED BY THE SCHOOL.

Mandatory Attendance Policy

1. All Students are Expected to be in Class each day.

2. If an emergency arises and it is necessary for you to miss class, you must reschedule as soon as possible.

NC DMV Drivers Education Certificate Requirements

• Be of Age - 14 1/2 or up to 18 years old

• Bring Birth Certificate at time of Enrollment

• Enrollment, Student and Rules Contracts filled out and signed by Student & Parent - Must Receive

• 30 Hours of Classroom Instruction - Must Have

• Pass a Vision Test (DMV provides this service free of charge)

• At least 6 hours Behind the Wheel Training

• Upon successful completion of the course you will receive a Drivers Education Certificate

• After getting your Permit or Driver's License - Keep it in a safe place!

Please always bring a spiral notebook and pen/pencil.

ALL STUDENTS MUST BRING LUNCH AND SNACKS FOR THE DAYS CLASS.  ALL AROUND DRIVING SCHOOL DOES NOT PROVIDE LUNCH.
