The NC DMV does not REQUIRE adults to have classroom instruction, however, All Around Driving School strongly recommends that adults consider our short 2 hour classroom course.  This course will cover everyday traffic situations, understanding signs and signals, defensive driving techniques to help you pass your exam THE FIRST TIME!  All Around Driving School believes "FIRST TIME ADULT DRIVERS" are memorizing the NC DMV handbook enough to pass an exam, but cannot understand and implement the information in real world traffic situations.  As a result of "memorization techniques" first time adult drivers are failing the DRIVING part of the DMV Exam.  Please let us give you the proper safety tools to ensure a safe and happy future.

l Adults must obtain a Learners Permit BEFORE driving instructions can start.

l Helpful Hints:

1. Study your DMV Handbook (download here or they are free at your local DMV).

2. Know your roadway signs and understand their purpose.

3. Know IN ADVANCE any documents you will need to bring (www.ncdot.org/dmv)

4. Go to your local DMV office to take a written exam and obtain a learners permit.

5. Call All Around Driving School to setup an appointment for driving instruction.
